- Ownership trends show that independent operators opened nearly two-thirds of new centers, while hospital-affiliated organizations accounted for just over one-third, signaling a sustained non-hospital investment.
- Nearly 58% of new centers were part of organizations operating 10 or more locations, underscoring continued consolidation and the importance of multi-site platforms.
- Clinically, more than 80% of new centers opened with on-site X-ray capability, reinforcing patient expectations for comprehensive diagnostic services.
- From an access standpoint, over 70% of new centers operate seven days per week, and many maintain extended annual operating hours commonly exceeding 4,000 hours per year—to meet consumer demand for convenient, after-hours care.
