The majority of the drugs (listed below) recently added to the drug supply shortage list, maintained by the FDA, are not used in the Urgent Care setting. Lidocaine patches could possibly be used in Urgent Care but this shortage isn’t likely to have an impact as there are several alternatives.

- Insulin aspart injection
- Insulin aspart protamine and insulin aspart mix 70/30 injectable suspension

- Potassium citrate tablet, extended release
