I remember getting my first cell phone at 29 years old and thinking “Wow technology sure has come a long way!” Fast forward through several flip phones, iPads, Facebook, the platform formally known as Twitter, Instagram… and now AI. I’ve got to admit it still feels a bit magical to me that this new tool(s) is now doing research, analyzing data, answering the phone and talking to patients and so much more! Whenever I use ChatGPT or other AI tools I take the results with a grain of salt and dig into sources and scrutinize suggestions provided knowing that it won’t be perfect but in seconds I am provided leads that would’ve taken hours to locate.
This morning, I decided to see what suggestions ChatGPT would have for operators of new Urgent Care centers on what services they should consider. The prompt I used was rather basic, but I found the results to be extensive… but are they right?
My prompt – What suggestions do you have for new Urgent Care operators on new services they could provide?”
This is where you all come in… I’d love your feedback on if ChatGPT is on target with its suggestions.
Click the link to see the details within the suggestions but these are the highlights:
- Employer & Workforce-Focused Services (High ROI, Sticky Relationships)
- Advanced Diagnostics & Procedures (Higher Acuity, Better Margins)

- Tech-Enabled & Consumer-Centric Services
- Community & Niche Differentiators
