Source Article – Advisory Board “6 things Gen Z workers want from their healthcare employers”.

Some of these will seem obvious but in reading the full article I learned that my assumptions on what these actually meant was off base.

What Gen Z prioritizes (not in order):

  1. Career growth and development
  2. Technology-driven facility
  3. Focus on diversity and inclusion
  4. Work-life balance
  5. Mental health support
  6. A socially responsible organization

I recently represented UCA at the AAFP FUTURE conference and these values are exactly what we heard from the students and residents we met with.  Yes, they are still interested in growth opportunities, but they are expecting more.  Below is a photo from that exciting event!
